Bandai San
| The hike to the summit took about 3 hours and 15 minutes, and about 3 hours to descend. It is said that prior to the 1888 eruption Bandai san had the shape of Fuji san. The eruption was similar to Mount St. Helens in that it was a horizontal blast. The landscape was forever changed. |
